Do the English not have a couple of free entry days too?

Cheers,
Toddy

It's ok,I'm a member of English Heritage and there are reciprocal free entry agreements with Historic Scotland I believe. :D

It turned out great. :D

Now I'm worried
Knowing that bunch, and I do, what were they up to? I think they're doing Bannockburn and Lanark this year too; I'm supposed to be in Medieval kit running a stall this year, spinning, natural dyes, hides and skins, that sort of thing.....I'm still in two minds about the kit part

Cheers,
Toddy

All perfectly respectable.

They were showing how to kill and maim people using the weapons available to the ancient Scots.

Very informative as well as entertaining.

The kit looks good in that setting and really adds a touch of realism. One of my old friends is a Reiver;he walked up to me and was talking before I realised I knew him. I think is was the big blue bunnet that confused me.

I'm sure that you will have a great time with that bunch. :D
