First time making something on a sewing machine... wool blanket anorak!

I thought I would give this a go, turns out its harder to make than I though it would be. cutting parts too small, repeatedly breaking needles, stitching the wrong parts together and all the other fun things learning to use a sewing machine. Not the prettiest thing but I'm sure it will keep me nice and warm now the cold weather is knocking at the door.

all in all it was a fun learning experience for me. I think next on the list i will make mitts from the leftover blanket and maybe try making the anorak from canvas.

just need to find a nice blanket and I am going to try my Singer as well like that a lot !!
