Nice find. I once thumbed through a copy of that book whilst sat in Mors Kochanski's kitchen

Contains advice such as :

"If your horse won't drink water don't do it yourself; Trust your horse, but don't trust your dog, for he will drink any filthy water."

Excellent read... frustrating that the camp cooking section was on the missing pages though

I was reading the recipe for potato bread and it mentioned you 'scald the mixture with the potato water'. Anyone know what that means?

I see no missing pages, maybe you need to adjust your view in your .pdf viewer?

Scald means to seal with a high temperature (I reckon).
