Cheap winter sleeping bag ?

hi I have convinced the wife to come out on the Suffolk groups Christmas do, I am thinking of getting her a winter sleeping bag, size un important but must be cheap, idealy I would like to find a US modular black bag or system cheap, failing that does anyone have experience of the Highlander bags or any recommendations.

Whats your budget Chris?

If its max bang for buck, my local ex army surplus shop does grade 1 artic bags for £25. I used one in -15ºC. I'm sure you could find one where you are.

snugpak sleeper extreme

to add - also make sure she can handle the shape of a mummy bag first though as they can be claustrophobic depending on who it is
