Brusletto - Bamsen ?

Im working on Brusletto - Bamsen for a friend.
New sheath ,lanyard hole and sharpening it.
The sheath is done and im wondering about drilling the pommel for a lanyard hole.
Does anyone know if the tang extends into the pommel or if the pommel is solid ?

Just found out that the tang runs right to the end so i wont bother with the hole.
