From the bootsale yesterday....
It's (i think) a Spear and Jackson #1..
I've given it a clean with one of those emery wheels that have the scotchbrite between...

yeah its a spear and jackson. looks the same as mine exept mine says 1 1/4 which is the weight so maby yours weighs just one pound. they are very good axes, good all rounders and much better at splitting than most thinner axes.

my axe when it wasn't finished but its the best picture of the head i have.

im not sure if its just the picture but i think the poll does look a bit smaller on yours.
