We are bringing our 4 year old and Steve is bringing his son and friend (age around 6 or 7 I think). We will just be there for the day too I think, although I might send Kurt and Kai home and stay on without them
bit of a bum. had to go to my grandads funeral this week (3 days in london) so got behind with a mountain of work. will try and pop up over the weekend, even if only for a couple of hours, but if I don't manage to make it, have a fantastic time and hopefully catch up with you guys at SMARTY's. If I do manage to find the time to come down, and you need supplies, then get Rhoda to give me a bell and I'll try to sort it out.

That is very true, we have a great little community of bushcrafters and I can't wait for the next get together! :You_Rock_For our part, it was great to meet everyone, and for us, it felt like a big family from the word go. There's not many things you can do nowadays, where a dozen complete strangers can come together and instantly find a kinship as if we'd all been friends for years! The kids were all great, keen to learn and extremely well behaved.
I think something may have started here, I for one would be keen to do this several times a year (even monthly).

Definitely! It was a really friendly atmosphere and people just got on so well, it's really great to see people being so kind; sharing skills & knowledge and just generally helping and sharing with others...it felt like a big family from the word go. My thoughts exactly, I will do my best to make this a more regular thing, I enjoyed it a lot.I think something may have started here, I for one would be keen to do this several times a year (even monthly).
