I got a copy of Raymond Mears's book at a car boot sale about 2 years ago for a quid, I couldn't get the money to the vendor fast enough, and I think I left indentations in the cover, I wasn't going to let it go!
Nice book, much much more info than his later books. I get the impression that he was leaving lots of stuff out in the later books with a view to teaching it on his courses, sort of a "if you want to learn more you'll have to come on our courses, Visa, Mastercard, right arm, first born son all accepted as forms of payment" And doesn't he look young in the pics!
Just got a trio of books from Amazon, one by a certain Mors Kochanski, another by a fella called Nessmuk, and one on primitive living(can't remember his name, and sheer lazyness prevents me leaving my chair to find out), all very informative and good reading.
