This was something that was in the Forestry and Timber News. Perhaps a BCUK browser has seen it; 40' animated wooden Elephant in London. The comment reads.
'I can't imagine how you get from having a ridiculous idea about building a 40' high animated Elephant to actually doing it. It was pretty impressive, though it probably would have been cheaper to fly in a herd of real Elephants'
They would like to hear of any other unusual uses for wood...
I'm sorry that I can't show the picture. I can only sat that even the small picture in the F&T news is pretty impressive. Almost worth a trip to London just to see in the flesh...sorry wood! Please let me know if you know where it is. I should also ask the publishers.
