Whilst checking out Guy Grieve on Amazon found that he is co-author, with Thomasina Miers, of a book called The Wild Gourmets which looks to be another essential book for the bushcrafter's library.

Herte's what Amazon have to say:
Synopsis
Thomasina Miers and Guy Grieve have a mission: to travel the length of Britain, from Land's End to John O'Groats, living completely off the land and not spending a penny on food. They will live in caves or in their rough-and-ready canvas tent. They will trap rabbits, shoot wood pigeons, dive for mussels, scavenge for wild fruit and mushrooms, beg, borrow, barter and hunt. Their jeep will run on second-hand cooking oil. They will live like paupers but they intend to eat like kings. Meet the "Wild Gourmets" - Guy, a writer and adventurer who spent a year living alone in the wilds of Alaska, and Thomasina, a London-based cook who won MasterChef in 2005. They are passionate about good, fresh, natural food, and about celebrating the British countryside and its produce. In this eye-opening, hands-on book, they show us how to reconnect with the land, rediscover survival techniques and hunting methods that our ancestors would have known instinctively, and rethink our assumptions about wild food - a piece of meat doesn't need to be professionally prepared and wrapped in plastic to be delicious: all you need is a campfire and a little old-fashioned know-how. The "Wild Gourmets" is an exciting cross between Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and Ray Mears, with a healthy dash of "The Dangerous Book for Boys" - a refreshing and inspiring guide for everyone interested in exploring food on the wilder side.

Great timing eh?published in Sept 07!
