I have a stick tang blade and I want to put a leather and wood handle on it - you know, different bits of leather all different colours stacked on top of each other.
But what glue is best to use?
Preferably something you can get in any high street.
I was going to use a slow-setting epoxy (that'll be Araldite) - to give me time to get the layers on and the bit on the back to hold them together tightly.
Is that best?
Cheers

Araldite will do it nicely :) use the blue one ( precision) as it gives you loads of time before it cures .

How's the Damascus doing? :)

Cheers for your help.

Yeah, the knife is going well and strong. Still razor sharp, and I've never had to touch it up since it was delivered! Whenever it comes out it always gets admiring comments.
