Have you considered buying a blade and making one? Blades are available from B&Q. As are cheap bucksaws actually, but that wasn't my point. There was the thread a while ago where lots of people had a go at making one if you want some design ideas.

No not at all, in fact I may well do, It is not always practical to make one on the spot however

I know it's not pretty, but it is the first one I have ever made.

Also it will give you an idea for a design, the original is hanging in a farmers barn full of woodworm.

It may pay to change the string it seems to be a bit springy.

Hi Stu, there are no plans but it looks as if I'll have to make some, I knocked the first one up free hand from:

American white oak
B&Q cheapy blade
Odd bits and pieces that where in with a new router I bought.

You can probably get the dimensions from Pignut as I never even measured it to any set idea, Iwas just using what I had.
