You wouldn't think so seeing it in the rough, dry, dusty state it had been in while seasoning for the last fifteen or twenty years, but so satisfying when you start turning and the colours and grain start to show themselves

It's lovely wood for this. I have two bowls my Dad turned when I was a toddler and the walnut keeps that beautiful colour and it stays sound through the years.
