viewing threads from work PC

HI,

Noticed a lot today, that when browsing threads it takes a long time for them to fully load. It loads up the first page or so, then halts - I can see firefox trying to connect to `mystatus.skype.com` for a while.

I'm running XP through a work laptop connected via VPN to company internet servers. I do run a lot of add-block sites however, and I have a hostfile packed with null addresses for nearly every ad site so I don't tend to see any of them at all.

It will probably be the people who added there skype name to their profile... like me
When we post it puts that in the post header i think.

Firefox also takes ages to negotiate new connections with some proxy servers, if you have one of them between your work pc and the net.
