Uses or recipes for crab apples

Dear all,

A neighbour has a crab apple tree that is loaded with fruit but she does not plan to use the fruit.

I have asked if I can harvest some of the apples.

Does anyone have any advice or guidance or recipes they are prepared to share, please?

Edit; Beaten to it

It makes good jam and jelly. BR's and (can't mindhisnamerightnow, Scout leader, not Shewie, but something like that) makes cider every year . both do the cidery things with them too.
Good for chutney, hedgerow wines (need a lot of clearing though) and pickle juice.

I always gravitate towards fermentation. Crab Apple Wine can be pretty good stuff.

I chopped and baked mine with some cinnamon, honey and dried fruit.
As they are bitter they make good subs for baking apples IMO
