My brief and extremely shoddy excursion into the world of bow making is over ...with my extreme lack of patience its kinda better to buy bows than make them, and safer..
So with that in mind there aint any point in keeping these 2 books.
1) The traditional bowyers bible volume 1 this gives you masses of info on all sorts of different bows arrows and techniques of building them.
2) Modern longbow design Toxophilus. Covers everything you need to know about warbow/longbow design and techniques courtesy of Roger Ascham (toxophilus) an expert from the tudor times.
these 2 books are pretty much what you need to read if you are just getting into making your own bows, and between them covers, from american flatbows, american injun bows, through to English warbows and pretty much everything in between.
As you can see in the pic they are both near as dammit new condition.
looking for £22 the pair including uk post which will cost me a fiver.
