My Grandmother used to have one, I think I still have it somewhere.

but I found a `National` at a autojumble, it was missing its nut so I got it for £1

A friend found a nut that fitted it.

I used to turn the handle of my grandmother's Spong mincer as a treat when I was little. I used to imagine I was making worms. We also had a Spong bean slicer. I think they also did coffee grinders.

I've got, and regularly use, the mincer. Also have the bean slicer and coffee grinder. With a name like Spong you can't go wrong!
