The author of the article does appear very partisan judging from a list of his other articles . I'll ask a beekeeper I know what he has to say before getting my pitchfork out.

It definatly sounds very plausable. If it is true I hope that everyone that was involved in the decicion making in the EPA and Bayer get put away for a very long time.

There's no real conspiracy, and this isn't really news. Bee-keepers have known for a while now that this is *partially* responsible for the decline in honeybee populations.

I just don't understand why nothing is being done. I don't really understand the full implications but I know it's a disaster. surely if it's killing off all the honey bees it must be extremely dangerous for humans and other animals that consume the products it's used on.

Potentially of epic proportions; given bees pollinate well over 1/2 of the worlds food producing plants.
