The Damsons are ripening

I'm pleased to see that the damsons on my local tree are ripening up nicely and it looks like a good crop, won't be long before I'm making jam again

I've noticed that the local supermarket has for some reason planted an array of Fruit Trees in the Car Park. Despite this no-one seems to be harvesting the fruit year upon year. There is also a Medlar Tree which is doing quite well and bearing much fruit.

II remember there used to be dozens of cherry trees in the carpark at Leeds University. Tons of fruit ... just tons. Mind you everyone would scoff it all up
