Sycamore spoon

Went for a solo bimble to my usual woods today,carved a couple of spoons one of which is this one pictured, I have placed it back alongside the other half of the small log from where it came, I carved another spoon from the other end of the remaining piece of wood. pleased with how this one turned out, have done some more tooling to it when I broke camp and went to another one, will take out the bowl tomorrow as I'm whacked.
Also found some iron pyrite and a brass shell casing dating from 1942. Was a nice day.

Spent Sunday walking in the woods with my dog and the camera. Lovely scenery with the bluebells at the moment.

Very nice Hugo, and it looks as if summer has arrived. I might see a green leaf here by the end of this month
