It's been cloudy and overcast here tonight but it's almost dark.
Some still measure a day from dark to dark, so with that in mind I'm going for a walk, and then I hope to be awake in time to see Sunrise on the Solstice.
Tomorrow I'm spending with a group of good friends, a creative sort of day in a wonderful place and then supper with my family.
I hope you all have an excellent day. Happy Solstice. May it be bright :D

cheers,
Toddy

The premise is for me to pull up my garlic in a few hours but the fact is that I need a few days for the ground to dry out so the reality is that is I will suck it and see.

:D Happy summer peak.

I for one, will be dancing naked in the moonlight around a stone circle while signing the Popeye theme song.

Have a great long day everyone !

I am sitting here with Abbe and it is 01:05 Swedish time, with a beautiful blue sky and a temperature of 9 degrees:D Tomorrow there will be big celebrations here and it is a national holiday!

Abbe has just taken this picture so that you can all see what I am seeing!

Well..... I spent the Solstice bivvi'd on a very remote beach on the Isle of Islay with Jeremy Hastings of Islay Bushcraft and Birding

Totally amazing - thread to follow once I've had a long bath as I've been sleeping in goat caves for the last 5 nights

Cheers,

Phil.

I spent the day playing with the 4 elements - earth, wind, fire and water. Also known as blacksmithing. The symbolism associated with the day was not lost on me.

Ah, dancing round the fire under the stars out in the pasture. Solstice, full moon, or just a party - always a good time, even if the cows think we're all crazy.

Clothed or skyclad? Well ... just remember what my grandma used to say about the difference between naked and nekkid. Naked is not having any clothes on. Nekkid is not having any clothes on and being "up to something".

Bonfires under the stars out in the glen are always more fun nekkid!
