Stretch side hammock mod

Hi everyone
I have just completed a mod to my TW hammocks as seen on Hammock Forum
The stretch sides using shock cord
I'm out hanging on 23rd so will let you know the results
Has anyone else done this mod ?
How was it ?

The knotty mod?

Not as yet, but I'm considering it for an ultra light day hammock. I realize it will add a few grams
but its worth it.

I have them on my Woodsman Lite, almost as good as a proper footbox but not quite

Nice to have something to stick your feet and head end into though for the diagonal
