I haven't posted in awhile, been too busy. So I thought I'd put a coup!e of pics up to show what I've been up to. These are the first two finished I've still got another two 111s, three 8rs one 8 and a Russian clone to go at. Its really satisfying bringing these old beauties back to life. Luckily the spare parts are still very easy to find.

Good job , those look great!
It must be quite satisfying bringing these back to life and getting them to look better than a new one.

Will you be selling some in the future?
Nice work. 👍👍

Excellent work, i am currently into restoring paraffin pressure stoves, just done a 00 and a 45, got another 45 and a primus 210 to do next. When i can find one at the right price i fancy a 111 or 8r, trouble is once done i want to keep them !!

Lovely work mate. I have always enjoyed bring tired things back to life and useable again.
Iv never done a a stove before. I have looked at them on eBay but I've never come across one at the right sort of price. I will pick one up one day and have a go at restoring one.

Good luck restoring your other ones too.

I have a few 111's how much do you want to spend? If you want to spray the case then the nearest match us 'stovies' found was Ford Cosmos Blue.

Thanks for that rik, totally out of the blue a friend turned up with a stove he had had in his shed for years and said have it, couldn't believe it, a paraffin 111, needs a seal kit, still trying to decide between a full resto or a sympathetic one to keep it as origional as possible as it is in good cosmetic condition. He also said he had 3 brassies in his lockup that i could have as well, so a good week on the stove front
cheers, Ian

Sorry for the very late reply I've only just seen your post. Yes the stesco works. I have the original tin, its a bit worn, the windshield and instructions. I've tried it with Coleman fuel and it works well.
