Steampunk & Bushcraft

I was reading the article below on the BBC about Steampunk, which was quite interesting. Basically its looking at the world as if victorian technology carried on into the present or if certain things were invented back then that changed things, such as us flying around on boat-plane-airship kind of things.

I was wondering, for a laugh, in one of these worlds how would you think bushcraft would have changed? For example a SAK: http://www.instructables.com/id/make-a-Steampunk-pen-knife/

Steampunk has a big followong in roleplaying and comic books with Castle Falkenstein and Space 1889 having been big in the early 00's

SteamPowered robots and various things like that !

pseudo victrians with Pickelhaube helmets and lasers mmmmmm

Wonder if there will be any at Middlewood next year :)

Steampunk appeals to me in that I love brass, mechanisms and anachronisms. However I sometimes feel it is a little... pretentious, for want of a better word. Mind you I sometimes feel that about bushcraft (whatever that is!).
