Some pictures from a wonder about the Trossachs today. All the pictures were taken on my Galaxy S2 phone on days like this I wish I had a good DSLR camera.

A misty start to the day

But when it cleared- sunny Scotland in October

this is where I wish I had a DSLR

I actually thought this was a bird egg but actually was some kind of fungi

I just came down from the top..........honest i did

The temperature in the morning was around -2c and rose to around 5c all in a good day for a wee stroll. Also spotted a red squirrel but it was gone by the time I got my phone out, I'll get it next time

Fantastic photos-you obviously have a photographers eye. If you took those on your phone then I'd really like to see pics from a DSLR!

Nice country and your phonepictures are as good as the ones I take with my camera!

If you can take photos like that with a phone camera, you don't need a better camera. .
You certainly know more than a little about composition........

Compo what?
To be honest I know next to nothing about photography a guy I worked with gave me a lone of his Nikon D40 last year to play with, yesterday was just so easy to find a nice scene.

That's got me thinking, should I start hinting for a new camera for Christmas Thanks again for the comments

You may not know about photography but you do know what makes a good picture......a natural talent prehaps, why not take it more seriously, a good camera for christmas sounds like a good idea......who knows where it might lead .......everyone has commented on how good your photos are & I don't think they're just being polite....they've genuinely touched us.

Nice pictures was nearby on Sunday, the way the sun shone through the mist made certain areas look radiant. Bit nippy though when the mist cleared up high, the lower parts peaked out showin just how pretty the trossachs is.
