Britannia!
Gouges..

The more specialised gear..

The basics..

And something a little more rucksacky..

I actually have more gear than I realise, it's the fact most of it collects dust that I rarely get reminded of my collection! lol

Here's what I tend to use:

imagejpg1_zpsfa425201.jpg

Gransfors large Swedish carver
Ben Orford medium spoon knife
Andrew Kirkham/ Woodlore crooked knife
Kellam fixed blade pocket knife
Rob Evans Bushtool - though all of my knives tend to get used when I'm carving I just alternate to see which I like and this is doing well so far :)
Andrew kirkham one is new - got it for making things rather than for spoonage I'm really pleased with it its a lovely tool

Here's my kit. First my portable small spoon whittling kit in a zipped pouch.

Then my larger tools, axes, drawknive and pole shaves.

@ Muddypaws;

I'm intrigued to know what the item that looks like a brake lever is ( a brake lever? ), and what it's purpose is? :)

It is a brake lever from a defunct Honda Cub. Only now it has a small tungsten carbide turning tool tip mounted in the end. The slight radiused edge of the insert is used to turn a hooked edge on my scrapers, which are near it in the photo.

Excellent, great upcycling; I just love all this stuff :) Thanks for the explanation.

I think it's class! Love it! Haven't had it long but I've not but it down since really-I did make a spoon after all with it, did use other tools too, and I'm in the process of making some cherry handles for tools with it too- have done all sorts of little projects with it and it's done great- the thing can still shave hair after a little strop and it cleans up well- Andrews workmanship is great. If I ever lost it id buy another one without thinking about it - says it all really :).

A mix of Flexcut knives, ones I have made myself and some very very nice custom ones from Lee Ferguson in the states. Got plenty more but these are the most used ones. I've started carving figures now too so the tools change all the time :)
