I am looking for (currently sold) short sleeping bags in olive green, brown or dark grey, (even black), or a woodland camouflage pattern, which blends well in Northern European nature.

The sleeping bags have to be
SHORTER AS USUAL.

They are meant as equipment for children, boy Scouts or small women.

I prefere plastic fibre fillings and I am mainly interested in 3 seasons bags.

Any Ideas???

Oh, thank you!

I didn't know that.

Do you just know it from the internet or can you tell me something about the quality of this bag?

My point is, that I am currently working at a micro bushcraft equipment.

That means, that I am writing a very short paking list with very light but robust bushcraft equipment in childrens sizes.

The rucksack weight will reach round about 4 kg, so the dwarf will be able to carry his complete equipment alone from the age of perhaps 6 years on, on real hiking tours beginning perhaps in the age of 9 years.

That's the reason why I try to save every gram.

:)

You could always get cheap used s. bags and shorten them.
Somebody around have a sewing machine I assume?

For the equipment, do not forget a knife. 6 years of age is a good time to start teaching them knife skills.
Morakniv make a nice blunt tipped knife with hand protection. I think it comes in nice colours too.
For the boys

For the girls

For children with modern parents, they have 'gender neutral' colors too.

These knifes are not to be sneered at. Absolutely no toys. Everybody here could function very well with one.
The only difficult task is picking out the soil from underneath the nails.

I got a Victorinox when I was five years old and a little but real fixe blade leather shorts knife when I was six.

In my opinion this Mora must be constructed for 3 years old dwarfs!

As a present when they start walking!
:)

Serious:
The Scouts had rules about the design even back then. So one of the factories in Mora made them.
I quit the Scouts back in -75 because they changed too much.

Fortunately we have several hundred more or less independant Boy Scout clubs in Germany.

Some are nearly like they had been hundred years ago.
