SAK and firesteel

I don't know whether anyone else has ever noticed that there is a small notch on the large blade of an SAK where it meets the choil.

I have no idea whether it is intentional or not, but it works very well as striker for a firesteel, sends out a ferocious number of sparks.

It's a simple job to square off the bottom edge of the bottle opener on a SAK to enable it to throw sparks from a ferro rod.
