Whats the hide for? Bison telt (the nowegian company tha sells the cheap lavvus) sells them for around 20 pounds. It might be worth contacting thier suppliers

Also tony had some reindeer hides for sale at the summer bushmoot at a good price so it might be worth contacting him to see if he still has them.

They all shed a bit - maybe they need to be stored in a freezer to mimic it's natural environment

I met a guy in Finland a couple of months ago, he said he could supply me with skins, he even said that he had to bury thousands last year as there was no demand, I will dig out his details and email him if you wish, what is the going rate or rather what would you want to pay for a skin delivered?

I really have no idea, he got me plenty drunk and beat me at pool while he was telling me he trained in England as a cobbler and now deals in leather in Finland, I presume he can do both but I will find out
