Shame
I used to love shooting up that way. I missed spotting about 8 of 10 shots once on my turn in the buts at Altcar when distracted by a cute tufty eared fellow sitting in a pine tree about15 feet away scoffing an acorn - quite unconcerned by all the bangs and thumps.
Amazing to see him sat on a branch as the .30 calibres whammed into the sand totally oblivious. Fantastic moment. BB was there with me and didn't belive me...as we walked back to the firing point there was another one who rubbed his paw past his ear.
"Bloody hell" she said" he's waving"
