Not finished yet needs a bit of sanding etc, putting a yew handle on tonight (not ideal i know, gonna do an Ash one as well.)

Its a take down toma (handle comes off)

Be gentle Red its my first axe

Body is mild steel with 1085 carbon steel edge forge welded into it

If thats your first Axe Ash you should be dancing with joy! Loving the classical "twin lug" design - what does she weigh in at?

The forge welding of a carbon steel bit in place is real class - nothing easy there
