Tried copy the URL of a pic to a message (shareable link to Google Drive). The forum prog rejected it. Has something changed, it worked the last time I did it.

Google drive pictures have always been a problem. I think it is more likely to be the Google side than the forum side. Can you post a link to the content and break the URL across two lines, with a "carriage return / Enter"? That will at least give someone on the mod/admin team a chance to look at the link and content and see what options there are.
