We recently bought a bell tent and fitted a winnerwell stove jack to it for our Nomad stove.

The Stove jack (or flue) comes with wingnuts on it which has made me think its meant to be removed when you pack the tent up.

What does everyone else do?

It feels like the bolt holes will start to fray if we keep removing it but then is there a special way to pack the tent as we cant obviously roll it with the flue attached. Also doesn't the flue damage the tent if packed with it installed?

Any thoughts would be gratefully received.
