And the beach (there are some kickass beaches) is at Cnip (Kneep)

the trees are outside Stornoway.

If you go to Cnip (its round Loch Roag) remember me to Murray McLeod, of Seatrek tours, there will you?

We spent 2 weeks rough camping along the coast on Lewis, Harris, Uist and Barra a few years ago. There are some fantastic spots but occasionally signs saying 'no camping'. We even camped on the beach at Traigh Mhor which is the local runway on Barra!

Great fishing off the western coast.

We will definitely go back.

All you people who have camped on the islands. Can you tell me if you think a Vango Beta 450 will stand up to the wind in a blow. I would pitch it in the lee of my Saab 9-5 Estate.
