Considering that the red onions bolted I've just pulled the remaining onions and most are ok.

The beans have been frozen now the lighter green ones I'm guessing can be dried for replanting Hugh?
I've got quite a few left as I'm going to try using g the field beans as a green manure this year ...
I've had success and a few failures again but we live and learn..

broad beans blackcurrents and gooseberries in freezer.
onions garlic and elephant garlic hanging up to dry.
now testing to see if marrow freezes and can be cooked ok. found it can be added to mince in cubes and cooks nicely next to see what happens after freezer.
got a much bigger freezer recently to get more serious.

Thanks Hugh I have got some on the plants going black I did this last year but I thought the ones in the photo would be ok to eat but I think I'll save them as seed.
Hill bill I will try them for seed next year I reckon...
