One more buck saw.

Hi,
It is made from mahogony (old front door) . This one folds in like the RM one. It needs to have some linseed oil rubbed in and finished off.
The green ripstop nylon in the pic was a trade for a glasses and darts case that i made.
My nexts project is to make a hex 3 / tentipi tent.

I have been planning on something like that for a while but haven't found the right piece of wood yet. Nice workwere there any difficulties you would care to share?

The only problem i had was getting the angle on the tenon right ,so to pull the top of the saw tight making the blade tight.

Hi,
The finished case for the buck saw. It is made from green canvas with a reinforced bottom
and veg tanned leather work . The two straps on the back are for fastening to packs, etc.
