Brilliant weekend, as always! Here's my pictoral offerings
My Mam told me never to trust a smiling man
A slightly more reflective moment with Young Martin...
Preparation of the delicious cinnamon sugar bannock
And here it is... it didn't last long
Friday night around the fire.... always lovely with craic and a laugh!
Bodge arrived at the crack o'sparrows on Saturday morning, talk about kwik off the starting block
21 degrees.... more of a sunshade than a rain canopy this weekend..
Jason and Lee test ride Lees new toy
More woodland work underway
Lee removing some of the dead tree growth on Saturday. It was a lovely work party, really enjoyed it
Sarge keeping 'em all at it
I had a wander each evening to watch the sky blaze a trail into the dusk. This is over the SSSI (archaeological, Medieval moated farmstead... a real special area of this lovely wood)
Karl, basking in the kilowattage of burning petrol chemical by product
Everyone full and replete after Preps' gorgeous curry... it was poetry in motion watching it all come together!
Sunday morning dawned fine and cloudless.
I love Sundays- copious coffee, the smell of breakfasts and a leisurely pack-up with lots of milling around and chat breaks
You're a fine bunch of folk and I feel real privileged to spend time in the woods with you all, thank you Steve and all the other attendees who make it such a special time and place
