Really nice job. Got me thinking now. I was going to order some replacement scales for one of my knives but could be tempted to do my own. Just need to acquire some nice wood. Is epoxy resin ok for attaching scales??

Thanks. I used Araldite extra strong, and seems to have been okay.

Love the grain on those scales Colin:)

What a transformation! Very beautiful sak now, and making it a bit more chunky is no bad thing, I've always thought they feel a bit slim in the hand. Excellent work.

That looks great, so much better than the orrible plastic scales.
I did a few an age ago with liners which sets them off too.
