Great photos, thanks for sharing them!:)

Those knives look so well made. I had no idea (until I came across this site) that people made their own, it's really inspiring - maybe I'll have a go myself one day!

Can you give us some info on those stoves? Are they homemade too?

Both stoves are hand made. the first is made from an old stainles pan and the stemer from a zebra billy

The second is a nimbelwill (Google this or search this site, there is loads of info)

Excellent body of work. You have touched on many different skill areas and provided much inspiration.

The Panda Bow is something with which I am not familiar. From the photos and description I am assuming that this is a bamboo based bow. Is this correct? I am familiar with the concept of the bundled/lashed bamboo bows and have made several of these. Your design does look a little more polished. Perhaps it is simply a continuous lashing that covers more of the limb? I have done groups of lashings, but never a continuous one. How does the performance vary?

As for your experience with this version I would appreciate 'seeing' and hearing more.

Thanks for your post, it was great to see!

Can you tell me more about the Panda bow please? Like Grey Owl says it looks like a bundle bow, but any more pics and/or information would be nice. And I really liked the kuksa. Thanks for sharing, you are a tallented men.

Thanks all for your kind comments!

Urbermeister, Greyowl

It is a bamboo bundle bow (I have always known them as "Panda" Bows)

It is continuously wrapped/bound with "Jute" twine and overpainted with Varnish

It is very stiff in action and pulls at about 38lb @26"

A couple more pics
