Hi all,

As the title suggests, I've snapped the tip on my Mora carving knife (it's the short blade version - 120?). I stupidly dropped it recently when I was whittling a spoon. Fair to say I was pretty gutted as I love using this knife!

Happily it's only snapped a very small section off the tip, no more than 1 or 2mm but I wondered if anyone can offer some advice on repairing/tidying up the tip?

I'm reasonably adept at sharpening and maintaining my blades but never had any need to re-profile broken tips!

Much appreciated

If it's only just a mil or two then all you need to do is put some tape on the edge, get a coarse stone and holding with the spine at right angles slowly sharpen it out.

Once you get so it's almost gone switch up to your next stone and so on.

Shouldn't take more than 10 or 15 mins.
