Hi People, looks like it's been a busy weekend all around the country, anyway here is my offering of our own little soiree. We were blessed with great weather again and were grateful for the woodland shade. Mr Webster soon announced that he wanted to create a roast dinner on Sunday, entirely on an open fire. Which he achieved with aplomb! Roast pork, with crackling! Roast potatoes, carrots, parsnips and gravy which was delicious!
On Saturday we bimbled around camp and various carving projects were started, Alison was making a love spoon for her mother. On Sunday we left the Webster slaving over a hot fire and I took the crazy Scotsman on a tour of some of my childhood haunts. Which was great fun if I could of only understood what he was saying.
Monday morning we all woke up bright and breezy and everyone in camp decided they wanted the old grey haired tour guide to show them some local sights of interest. Which I did my best to fulfill, as hopefully the pictures show.
Hope you enjoy the pics, as usual all comments and abuse welcome.

Regards

Ivan...

After having picked up my learned colleague en-route to 5 wyches we arrived at about midday Saturday and began setting up camp. Our collective medical expertise was soon called upon to help a fellow camper with a life or death situation, poor Lee, R.I.P (ring in pieces).
As usual my thoughts quickly turned to food and what was on the menu for the weekend, so I volunteered to cook a full woodland roast dinner which turned out ok, I think??

Great mates, great times...looking forward to the next one already

Looks cracking will be joining you at some point for sure

Hi Mouse, yeah that would be good mate, i will announce one soon, probably for the summer holiday period, purely so i can hike the prices up! Beyond everybodys reach (seems to be the norm)

Only joking, the site we will probably use, is free for 2013, because of all the clearing work to be done.
