Does anyone who uses lures know the name of an old 1950's american one. It was all metal, 2 pieces, joined with a split ring, oin the shape of a fish. It was a killer bait back then. I came across it a while back but cannot remember what it was called. IIRC it had a random type of action

One brand was "Lazy Ike."
Another brand that I used in the biggest (T55) size was the "Flatfish."
They were articulated in the middle to swim.

I'm thinking fresh water, mostly lakes and big Northern Pike (Esox lucius).
Except for a rod, reel and line, I'd have to defer to somebody on the coast for lures for the salt.

Not sure wether for fresh water or sea, but most likely was a largemouth bass bait. It was just 2 simple pieces of metal no real detail other than the basic fish silhoutte shape, I dont think it was even painted, just stainless, or maybe plated with brass copper or chrome or similar. It had the appearance of an inuit type of lure
