mallow

Has anyone used Mallow for cooking and what were the results --- I have heard of a resipe using the leaves and garlic

It can be a bit slimly, and best used to thicken soups, etc. The leaves are OK raw and so are the small seeds.

Better than vine leaves for dolmades type wraps though.

The root is supposed to be nice baked on fire, I think I may of ate some years ago, and it fluffed up and was sweet. but I was drunk and it was dark. The sweet marshmellows were made with the ground root, sugar, vanilla, and baked in a hot oven. I mostly see it in other people gardens or behind nettle patches, so I never get the opertunity to try it
