Looking to Hammock around County Down - Belfast/Newtownards

I was trying to find somewhere to camp in the hammock around the Belfast/Ards/County Down area.

I'd appreciate some pointers as I'm coming up with nothing suitable.

from looking on google earth, northish of Newtownards, theres a hill called cairngaver, which, just north of that is large wooded area, near what looks like a quarry. OS mapping shows a water course on the southern edge of the wood. i dont know the area, but from google earth it looks suitable?

unfortunately not, Northern Ireland Water own the lot. ( if I'm thinking of the same place )

Yep, just checked, same place.

That looks like Cairn Wood. Forestry Commission I think.
