Anyone use the 'columbo' (2.8-3.2mm) sides from Leprovo? Are they any good? Thinking of getting one as I'm just starting in leatherworking.

As above really, I use them for sheaths, axe masks, works fine. You might find a rough patch every so often, but very rarely, and if you do, it's usually no problem to work round it!

Good service, and a good price for pretty good quality leather!

Cool, I shall order one tomorrow! And belt straps, buckles, press studs etc..... This could get expensive! May have to get good quick and become a maker! Got some great ideas coming up...

Think I'll start with the cheap stuff first. Probably make a few mistakes and want to redo as I get better!
