Leather stamps

I want to expand my leatherworking by using leather stamps to create repeating patterns. I have been looking on the internet and ebay and it seems that the cost of leather stamps varies enormously. Essentially I want to start out with a few celtic style knots, is there anything I have to beware of from ordering cheap sets from China?

Yes. They're zinc and bend like toffee.
