Has anyone made their own palm? if so what did you use to make it with? I what to make one sewing some leather offcuts but not sure about the other part.

I did.
My Dad's is far too big for me and I couldn't find one to buy that was small enough, so I made my own.
I used a 2p piece for the metal plate that shoves the needle through. It's still sound and I still use it but if I did it again I'd use some of the veg tanned leather for the strapping, all I had was thin stuff so it's layered up.
