I saw Leon made one version that I have not seen before. I must give that a try to see how well that works. This one that I've just made is more common.... to me anyway.

What sort of closure do you prefer?

I like the one Leon made (well I would wouldn't I - he modeled it off my favourite old pouch) but I think yours would work just as well - they are both about "all leather" and allow secure closure, with one handed open / close and no jangly buckles.

PS - why aren't you back here? I need a sheath! :)

That looks like a great, neat variant of the all-leather closure. It might just feature in my next bag...

Thank you.

Here's another version in brown.

Made this to try out my new airbrush set up. The whole pouch was hand dyed using a brush with tan dye and then the middle section airbrushed with brown dye.

The airbrush uses 1% of the normal dye amount to cover the surfaces evenly. But there is hardly any penetration. That's why I still hand dyed it and used the airbrush for special effect.
