Kew Books have knocked a few quid off their 2002 CD-ROM on poisonous plants and it's
now £15.99 if bought directly from their website, at
http://www.kewbooks.com/asps/ShowDetails.asp?id=113

There's a review from someone working in an emergency department (they comment that
it's more of a teaching tool rather than something to be used in place of emergency
poisons information) here
http://www.pubmedcentral.nih.gov/picrender.fcgi?artid=1726276&blobtype=pdf

Might be a useful addition for anyone interested in, but appropriately cautious of, plants
and fungi. I'm tempted to get one and have a bit of a nose around in it.

Was very sad to read (on the news, front page) of a woman dying recently from eating a
death cap, not to mention the group which included the Horse Whisperer author making
themselves ill with mushrooms.

A strong reminder that "natural does not necessarily equal safe".

:red: Me want one!!!!

My poisons guide I got for my thirteenth birthday, and was printed 22 years ago. I need something more up to date. I think I feel a good pestering to santa coming on. :D .

Studying toxic plants and fungi is an absolute must for anyone serious about eating wild food, it opens a door a knowledge where you can grasp and full and complete understanding of Mother Nature.
