I saw this Guy the other day but did not get a chance to talk to him, he then appeared in the local paper, here is his story.
Very interesting reading.

I saw him on his trek outside the town of Nelspruit to the right of the map.

My son just walked bare foot for 45 mins, through a rocky forested area where we are staying in Sweden this afternoon.
Not quite the same level of achievement, but he is only 4, so there's still hope. (Seems it's a lot easier for him to go bare foot at 20kg than it is for me at 80kg. Physics at work I suppose, oh well!)

got a twig right through the side of my food, and glass in the other


didn't discourage me, i try to wear shoes as little as poss
